For those who never got the chance to meet him, Crispin was one of life’s ‘good guys’.  In everything he did Crispin was principled and conscientious.  Crispin’s passion for life inspired many, both young and old.  He will be remembered for his strong principles and belief that he could make the world a better place.  As well as his ability to be the last man standing at any party.

A man who must surely be the most youthful grandfather I’ve ever known.

He was a great man in so many respects.  Honest, committed and hard working for the causes he believed in so passionately.  He was also eloquent, knowledgeable and a great writer.

Crispin was an unswerving seeker after truth. A man who was courteous at all times and someone who always showed grace even under the toughest pressure.

Crispin was an absolute gentleman of the highest calibre whose kindness, impish humour and unerring determination to always do the right thing touched the hearts of all who met him.

He was such a lovely unassuming person with a fierce commitment to telling the truth and to standing up for justice.

We remember Crispin as a generous friend, but also as a man whose quiet leadership inspired us all.

Crispin was such an inspiration to all that met him.

A life well lived.
